GEORGE AND RHONDA Salem hosted an Oct. 28 fund-raising reception at the Washington, DC offices of DLA Piper in support of the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, MI. The museum documents, preserves, celebrates and educates the public on the history, life, culture and contributions of Arab Americans. It also serves as a resource to enhance knowledge and understanding about Arab Americans and their presence in the United States. Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil Corporation, the Embassy of the State of Qatar, the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia and the Embassy of Libya co-sponsored the event, which was attended by Arab Americans, diplomats and members of Congress, including Rep. Nick Rahall (D-WV), pictured above with Betty Sams, and Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-HI).
